Flickr was launched in 2004 by Ludicorp, a Vancouver-based company. But then it acquired by Yahoo in 2005. As of 2013, it had more than 3.5 million images which are being uploaded daily. The application was also reported to have more than 35 million registered users. The official mobile application also could be downloaded for free for Android, Windows Phone, PlayStation Vita, and iOS operating systems. There are two types of accounts on it, which are Free and Pro accounts. The Free account has limited interaction, accessibility, and data storage. Meanwhile, the Pro account received unlimited upload and storage.
Flickr on Pokki promise you guys a good time, which are Biggr, Whenevr, and Spectaculr. Biggr here means that you could share and enjoy your files with a terabyte of data storage. It is like 6.5 megapixels of solid 537.731 photos in full resolution. So whenever here means that you guys could just upload your file once, but then you could easily send it to any device. Then you could send it to your friends or followers on social media too. And finally Spectaculr here means that your photos being beautifully displayed and could be downloaded too with brilliant resolution.
Flickr also provides both private and public image storage. The user could set some privacy to their files. So that all your files from your camera are totally secure. The user could choose their private images for friends or family only. It also has some kind of minor (as in children) censorship or content filtering in some selected countries. Some of them are Hong Kong and South Korea. This application has been quite a helper when it comes to the photo management and video hosting. It would be a shame if you never try it out.
