John Curley
John Curley has an extensive background in journalism, and most recently served as a deputy managing editor at the San Francisco Chronicle. He has also been a lecturer at UC Berkeley's graduate school of journalism since the fall of 2007.
At the Chronicle, John directed the work of reporters, editors and photographers. On a daily basis, he was responsible for the content and presentation of Page One. He also appeared nightly on the local CBS affiliate, giving updates from the newsroom.
John also contributed stories and photography to the Culture Blog on SF Gate, the online version of the Chronicle. Currently, he writes a column about photography for San Francisco's Examiner.com, and his work has appeared regularly in San Francisco Magazine and other regional and national publications.
