Abigail Curtis
Abigail Curtis is a recent graduate of the UC Berkeley graduate school of journalism, where she focused on radio and magazine reporting. She was the co-recipient of the 2008 Urban Reporting award for the radio documentary "America, America", which aired internationally on the program "Making Contact". She'll be an intern this fall at the Rocky Mountain News in Denver and is looking forward to returning to Colorado. Her articles have been published in the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Jose Mercury News, the Oakland Tribune and the Salt Lake Tribune. Before graduate school, she worked as a reporter covering one national park, six towns and three offshore island communities for the Bangor Daily News in Maine.
Abigail Curtis collaborated with Ulla Skvosbol Knudsen on the Growth Meets Limits suite of stories from Colorado: The Dream of the Wild River; The Dream of Prosperity; The Dream of the Green Lawn and The Farmer's Dream.
